The new Registrar of Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria, COREN is Engr. Felix Atume, FNSE, mni.

Until his appointment, Engr. Atume has served as the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Society of Engineers. He was also a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering, Federal University of Technology, Minna.

An Alumnus of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Engr. Atume has varied experience in the Public Service having retired as a Director of Civil Engineering in Benue State. He also served as the Honourable Commissioner for Works in Benue State.

He has since assumed office and focused towards ensuring professionalism in Engineering Practice in the Country.
