Dear Sir/Madam, INVITATION TO THE 17TH COREN ENGINEERING ASSEMBLY I write to invite you to the 17th COREN Engineering Assembly scheduled to take place on Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th September, 2008 at the International Conference Centre, Abuja. The Engineering Assembly has continued to provide an ideal forum for all engineering personnel and stakeholders in the public and private sectors to come together and discuss matters of the Engineering Profession for national development. It also provides the opportunity for all cadres of the Engineering Family to sociailise and discuss issues of mutual interest. Attendance to the Engineering Assembly is mandatory for all Engineering Personnel as the Law provides that an engineering personnel must satisfy the minimum requirement for Continuing Professional Development to remain on the Register of COREN. All employers have an obligation to ensure that their Engineering Personnel are not only released but are also sponsored to the Assembly. The Registration fees are as follows: · Engineers and Engineering Technologists : N12,000.00 if payment is made on or before 22nd August, 2008; N15,000.00 if payment is made after 22nd August, 2008. · Engineering Technicians and Craftsmen: N6,000.00 flat.
